Call for Papers

This workshop is seeking original research and position papers dealing with different aspects and issues with robots and sensor networks in cloud computing. Also, in an effort to highlight the state-of-the-art and discuss the challenges and opportunities to explore new research directions. We strongly welcome submissions that include results, which advance the state-of-the-art relating to the themes of the workshop.

We consider two main tracks in this workshop: Cloud Robotics and Sensor Clouds. Papers dealing with both robots and sensor networks clouds are also sought.

The main topics to be addressed include (but not limited to):

    • Cloud Robotics

        • Virtualization of robots
        • Computational models for cloud robotics
        • Middleware for robots and sensor networks
